Mystica rises on a hill with a spectacular view over the vast lake and the impressive Arenal vulcan. The predominant feature of the landscape is the intensity of the color green. 
A small river runs along the south side of the property and 
can be reached by a short walk through the fruit trees.

The tall trees of the surrounding wood house various species of animals including toucans, monkeys, parrots and the famous blue morph butterfly all easily visible during the first light of dawn and at sunset. The lodge and the restaurant are two separate buildings with a parking lot next to each one. 
At Mystica you will find a small orchard where we cultivate spices and vegetables for daily use and flowers for the decoration of the restaurant.

Schana and Brida, our two horses, walk around freely and 
often, when disturbed by our dogs Chaka and Dante, they 
delight us with a spectacular show of unrestrained galloping all around the property
